Interview: STEVE PALMER Steve Palmer has been a Racing Post columnist, golf tipster and punter for most of his working life. One of the most well-known tipsters in the country, his columns have been must read material for years. Palmer’s weekly diaries were so popular that Michael Owen, Dietmar Hamann, and Paul Merson gave endorsements to his 2011 book ‘Born To Punt’. In the same year he landed the biggest winner in the Racing Post’s history when 200/1 shot Thomas Bjorn won at the Qatar Masters.
