Interview: ED HAWKINS: Ed is a cricketing analyst, journalist, anti-corruption expert and published author. Currently the cricketing correspondent for betting.betfair – and host of the ‘Cricket Only Bettor’ podcast on the same platform – he is a three time Sports Journalists’ Association Betting Writer of the Year award winner and won the Wisden Book of the Year award for ‘Bookie Gambler Fixer Spy’. After that book, which was shortlisted for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year 2013, he educated the ECB’s anti-corruption unit and advised the MCC. In 2019 he embarked on his second project, ‘The Men On Magic Carpets: Searching For The Superhuman Sports Star.’ He has written for The Times, Sunday Times and Daily Mail.
